Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Summary

We’re looking for a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care and support daily nursing operations. This role focuses on patient comfort, safety, and basic care needs under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, attentive, and committed to quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support patient mobility, transfers, and positioning.
• Measure and record vital signs, intake and output, and other basic observations.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Assist with feeding and hydration as needed.
• Provide comfort, emotional support, and respectful care.
• Maintain clean, safe patient areas and equipment.
• Assist with transporting patients within the facility.
• Follow infection-control, safety, and confidentiality procedures.
• Document care activities accurately and promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
• Current CNA certification in good standing.
• Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and safety practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a hospital, clinic, or long-term care facility.
• Experience working with older adults, rehabilitation patients, or individuals with chronic conditions.
• Familiarity with electronic health records.

Physical and Other Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
• Ability to assist with patient transfers and repositioning.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background screening if required.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay range $18 to $22 per hour, shift differentials, and performance bonuses.
